In 1980, at the age of 23, the Lord Jesus Christ delivered her from the “powers of darkness”, changing her life dramatically. Feeling God’s tremendous unconditional love and forgiveness, Shirley underwent a life-altering transformation to accept the Lord as her personal Savior and to serve Him.

     Shirley’s experience in ministries spans many years.  During this time, Shirley directed Youth and Children's ministries, created a Bible Newsletter I'll Share Jesus is Lord, broadcasted a weekly Worldwide Christian Radio program. Over the past 19 years her ministries have also included Bible Study Jail Ministry, New Life Ministry (outreach to drug addicts, alcoholics, hurting and broken people), The Banqueting Table Food Ministry (outreach to the homeless), Street Evangelism, Door-to-Door Soul Winning, Discipleship training, Establishing an Emotional Hurts Class, President & Founder of Women Who Overcome Incorporation (restoration for women) and “Fun Club Kids” in church and street outreach ministry.
